Anatolia is another beautiful place that lies within Turkey. Anatolia is divided into three regions: Central Anatolia, Southeast Anatolia, and Eastern Anatolia. Anatolia boasts some of the best attractions in the world.

In this region, this is also where you can witness the Mausoleum of Atatürk monument, which is one of the masterpieces of modern Turkish architecture. In Cappadocia is where you can find troglodyte villages, underground cities, fairy chimneys, and rock-cut churches. The city of the Whirling Dervishes, Konya, is located south of Cappadocia. This is where you can find the Bogazkale, Hattusas, Yazilikaya, and Alacahoyuk which is part of the most important cultural aspects in the world.

Southeast Anatolia is a well-protected region of cultural heritage. Southeast Anatolia invites you to discover its wonderful works from various periods. The Tigris and Euphrates Rivers surround the blessed land that witnessed the birth and growth of Abraham. Different architectural styles make it more interesting than the other. These architectures did not cease to attract traveler’s admiration.

The vast region of Eastern Anatolia includes the entire eastern part of the Anatolian plateau to the borders of Georgia, Armenia, and Iran. In this region, the altitude is higher, making more cold seasons and shorter summers.
